I was wondering what everyone though about it, I mean take a look at this!
http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html
Please don't ask me if it's real or not, I never actually read it through, though I seriously doubt it's legitimate.

Anyway, just incase someone felt we shouldn't colonize other planets or the moon or whatever, I decided to post this!

I personaly don't really feel anything wrong with it, though maybe the slight weight of the things we bring with us will make the orbits become unstable and we'll mess up the whole solar system!

Well, if you read all the way through it, there's a link at the end telling you to e-mail them for more information. So I e-mailed them. Ha ha. We'll see what comes of this.

Onto your question, I think that space exploration/colonization of other planets has nothing wrong with it, as long as we don't screw up other planets like we have earth.

EDIT: and here's what came of it:

"Thank you for contacting Google about our Copernicus Research Center.

We've received an overwhelming response to this opportunity and are not
currently accepting additional resumes. We will, however, keep your
information on file should we have an opening in the future. At the
current staffing levels, we anticipate that we may need additional
applicants on or around April Fool's Day in 2104. Until then, we
appreciate your interest in Google and your taking the time to write us.

Sincerely,

The Googlunar Recruiting Team"

Well, on the topic of colonizing other planets, have you guys ever read THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES by Ray Bradbury? It's a great book on the topic. Actually, everything by Bradbury is good, but that one especially. It's about colonizing Mars, in case y'all didn't get that from the title. Wink You should pick up a copy at the local library and read a few pages. You'll be hooked.
